Founded by Uncle Red in 1998, Submit is New York City’s longest-running leather party. This monthly gathering, run by and for the women and trans community, honors the elders who created what we know as leather culture and uplifts those who are keeping it strong today.

The Mx Submit title was introduced in 2023 as a way to celebrate talented and dedicated individuals who give back to the Submit community. The title was retired in 2024 when the party was handed to a new organizing team, and the sash is now displayed on the altar at each Submit party.
